In Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Bat Gremlin spawned at the Clamp Center. After drinking a bat serum at the Splice O' Life laboratory, he mutated into a bat/gremlin hybrid. Bat Gremlin was covered in cement, but was able to fly away and land on a cathedral's roof, where the cement hardened and practically turned Bat Gremlin into a stone gargoyle.
